saib opens fourth financial education center as part of its digital transformation strategy

Leading bank saib has opened its fourth “saib cube” financial education center at the City Center Mall in Alexandria.
Amr Nosseir, head of the retail banking group and the bank’s distribution channels, said that financial education centers are a new model presented by the bank as part of its digital transformation strategy. These centers are based on a self-service basis for customers who need fast service. They aim to attract young people whose daily life revolves around modern technology.
He added that these centers serve, guide and respond to all requests from customers using the services available in the “saib cube”, in addition to promoting banking services in particular and the concept of financial inclusion in general.
Since the start of the year, four centers have been opened in the Mall of Arabia and the Mall of Egypt in Cairo, and the Tanta Mall in Tanta, in addition to the last in the City Center Mall in Alexandria.
Nosseir said the bank is implementing a well-thought-out plan for its traditional branches. The number of branches has increased to 35. In addition, the bank has an expansion plan in the Delta and Upper Egypt. The bank’s administration carefully chooses the location of the new branches, based on various criteria, in particular the geographical location and its proximity to the target customer segment.
He explained that the number of ATMs has doubled to 96, from around 48 machines in 2020. The bank aims to increase that number to strengthen its presence in residential and service areas across the country.
Mohamed Ali, director of the electronic services and innovation department, explained that “saib cube” is a different concept of banking services which aims to be present in places with high population density, using an attractive design that ensures optimal use of space. The services offered include automated teller machines and interactive screens to display the bank’s products, as well as a “tablet” to facilitate access to Internet banking service. voice telephony service is also available. It allows customers to communicate with a customer service representative.
He explained that these centers serve bank customers seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
saib cube is one of the tools to disseminate financial literacy in all segments of society. Its main purpose is to make society aware of the terms and characteristics of different banking products and services and to highlight the differences between them, as well as to help customers choose the right product for their needs.
